DHS finally re-opened Haiti TPS (Temporary Protected Status)

DHS finally re-opened Haiti TPS (Temporary Protected Status)! This is a new designation, meaning that Haitians in the US who have never received TPS are eligible to apply (and those already in TPS status can file to extend). TPS not only allows for a work permit, but also protects from deportation.

TPS registration opens 8/3/21. If anyone has any questions about eligibility, reach out to our office for a free consultation.
